bienvenue

this is a blog. i've had so many but never stuck to them, likely because i have a very busy real life that requires near constant attendance. luckily, the school term is very nearly over and i have 3 glorious weeks to participate in frivolous activities, like getting drunk or achieving fame and glory on the internet. since i have just returned from phoenix, arizona with a nasty but pleasantly short-lived cold, alcoholic drinks do not appear to be the best option at this time, so the only thing left was to blog.

i don't like micromanaged, hyperorganized little things. too many boundaries and too much organization sort of takes the fun out of things. i don't know what i'll post here yet. pictures, from my life and maybe yours. quotations, interviews, articles, essays, anything and everything i can think of. i have a cedar chest full of trinkets and junk - old toys, old photos, old memories. i guess this blog will be the e-quivelent (get it? "e" quivelent? har) of that cedar chest.
